Well Rainbow has gone to Lauren and a new home at a campsite somewhere north of Brighton. Katie and I were well stoked that the ebay sale came through and slightly gutted as Lauren drove away on the road out of the Forest of Dean and we waved goodbye to our trusted Mark 1 transit of the past few years.
So we won’t be back at Gennith or Hells Mouth this summer in Rainbow but instead we’ll be back in “Mole”, out of semi retirement from one of those fields I’m always on about.
For a year we lived in Mole with his original moley grey brown colour then we headed for Europe for the winter and roller painted him a cool volks green. Now we’ve got a new incarnation for this 1972 tax exempt Mark 1 transit landliner– new colours new interior pinto engine to replace the V4 and more. I all goes well we’ll be back at Hells Mouth in July for some of those crystal peelers and our park up site beside Old Red at the cliff.
