This, the fourth release of the Still Stoked website, has been developed to be accessible to the widest possible audience. If you have any problems accessing this site please notify the site administrator so we can rectify the problem.
Where applicable, each page has relative links for the sitemap, home, next, previous and parent pages, to aid navigation in text-only browsers and assistive technologies. Netscape 6+, Mozilla and Opera users can also take advantage of this feature by selecting to show/hide the Navigation Bar from the View menu.
All accronyms and abbreviations have a contextual description of their meaning the first time they appear on the page. Unusual terms (for example Donny slang) also have contextual help. Where this applies, the text is underlined, and holding the mouse over the word will display its meaning.
This site uses cascading style sheets for visual layout. This site uses only relative font sizes, compatible with the user-specified text size option in visual browsers. If your browser or browsing device does not support stylesheets at all, the content of each page is still readable.
All pages on this site (unless otherwise stated in the Development Notes below) are WCAG AA approved, complying wih all priority 1 and 2 guidelines of the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. All pages on this site validate as XHTML 1.0 Strict. All pages use structured semantic markup: H1 tag is used for the site title; H2 tags for main titles; H3 tags for subtitles.
The following access keys can be used on all pages on the site:
All form fields on the site also have an accesskey denoted by the underlined letter (CSS enabled browsers), or italicised letter (CSS disabled browsers), in the label. To use access keys: on Windows press ALT + Access Key; on Macintosh you can press Control + Access Key.
All links on the site (except the main menu) are underlined. Within the main content of each page all links are weighted and coloured as follows:
Where applicable, links have accompanying text which describes the linked content in more detail. This text is displayed in the tool-tip when the mouse is held over the link.
If the link has an accesskey this will also be displayed in the tool-tip.
The development of the Still Stoked website to meet accessibility expectations of the DDA Code of Practice as described in the above statement is ongoing. While all the main pages of the site (those directly linked from the main menu) are understood to meet the requirements of WCAG AA , a number of subsidiary pages are still under development. We acknowledge that a number of articles indexed in the Travel section of the site may still need additional development to meet the requirements outlined above.
