The Landsurfer was created as a means to practice longboard surf moves on the tarmac, from the pop up to drop knee turns et al. In 1998 Guts Griffiths proved the point that the Landsurfer in his words Goes off
. Guts put a lot of time in practising his reverse cross step backhand turn on the Landsurfer, which he put down as a key factor in his becoming European Champion that year.
Of course you don't need to be a prospective Champion to get the most out of this board. It excellent for beginners to get up confidence and balance and for everyone in between to ride out those flat or blown out days.
We shall be taking three landsurfers to the Brighton Paddle Round the Pier this coming weekend, 4th and 5th July. One 6ft landsurfer will be the ever popular Woody stain, which is £195

While the other two will be Hawaii style flower cloth nose decks, in either red or blue, which are £235

New to the Landsurfer is it's very own etched-burnt decal which is then stained. All of the staining and etching is done in house by hand - none of your one of a million screen print decks here!

These two boards are awesome to look at and just the coolest thing to be seen riding the tarmac. The hardware is the one and only Indy 215, which has stood this board well for 12 years, with Kryptonic 70mm Classic K wheels.
